Confusion , Contradiction , relentless so called facts and figures .. . . . .
Yes I am talking about the arguments for and against our continued membership of Europe. Whichever media you happened to listen, read or hear the constant debates about the membership of UK in the EU . Well it is expected as this is a once in a life chance to shape the future of this country.
we are kept on reminded that the decision we make should be taken by considering our personal circumstances and determining what effect our decision will make to our personal circumstances. Well the arguments on both sides are heating up but the contend of these arguments are slowly degrading.
We decided to join in the so called "common market" some forty one years ago and I have been living here for 41 years. well that means all my time in UK the only life I experienced is inside EU. But the argument is not against the common market it is against the present day EU. I do understand that.
While I was a student the politics of all this did not matter to me that much well the correct reason was that I did not have time and was a "typical" student of that era. But as time progressed my life role changed to be a young husband, young father and now a matured husband and father soon to be a grand father.
So the view towards the society, the happenings in the society, the changes in the economical status of the country are all seem to affect my personal life and the inevitable involvement in political scenario followed. started my life in this country as a Labour supporter and slowly over the years found mu views were more aligned with the Conservatives. This may be because of the changes of life situation .
Once you start to see some abuses of the social benefits it is amazing at times I seem to agree with Mr Farage. Well once you are in the present situation of the referendum circumstances I have a big argument raging within myself. There are some senses in what the "Leave" campaigners say but the leap in the dark scenario frightens me.
The saying " if it is working why break it?" circles in the mind. The worrying thing for me is the importance given to " Immigration " by the leave campaigners. It is true that the present rate of immigration will cause serious problems on the services. But relentless attack on immigration might create divisive attitude.
"leave" campaigners themselves are accepting that no one can predict the outcome of either situation for an argument sake let us say the "leave" wins and even after 5 years if the situation does not improve then who will be blamed the Immigrants who are settled in here ? It is a big worry.
I tend to believe the prime minister, he need not to be worried about his position as he will not be a prime minister after this term. he could easily go along with the flow and make the life easier for him. But he is firmly standing by what he believes is the best for this country despite a lots of criticism from his own party MP`s.
It is worrying to see the division within the Conservative party and the suggestion in the media that there are people trying to oust the prime minister after the referendum. Whatever it is David Cameron had a mandate for five years he promised a referendum and is delivering it. It is his duty to say what he believes is right to the public whether they believe it or not it is up to them. He has said that whatever the country decides he will carry out the peoples wish.
It is important that we should not let our heart rule our head. Putting the country`s interest before anything else should not constitute as being unpatriotic.

By the way has anyone seen Jeremy Corbyn ?
Well in my case I am still pondering and constantly weighing the pros and cons, but this constant bashing of "Immigration" will play a big role in making my decision.
