Learning !
What is the real meaning of it ? studying something in parrot fashion and repeating it in an answer in an exam and getting a qualification.
Is that it ?
Learning does not stop with the school, college or university. It continuous with us throughout our life. We are capable of learning something everyday but are we equipped for it ?
Yes all us are equipped to learn every day , all we have to do is open our heart. Treat everyone else as important as us. Every person has something that they can teach us whether it is something that we benefit from doing that ourselves or not doing it ourselves.
Somewhere in the corner of our mind we all think that we know more than the other person and this thought alone stops us from learning from others.
You may think oh ! it is easy for Sakthi tosay these things but does he adhere to what he is writing about. The simple answer is "no". But I have accepted the fact that I need to do that. I have realised that I have been a fool for long time.
For an example if a friend says something to me which is a new fact I never knew before I seldom accept to him that I have learnt something from him. I was behaving in such manner for a long time , but the events in my life has changed the way I look at things.
The difficulties I had in life had taught me that I am still a very immature student in the school of life. Which in turn encouraged me to learn from others.
Now I realized that by talking less and listening more I will learn more.
Yes learning is an art but not for students only for everyone ......
It is getting late I must go and learn ..................
