Who am I ?

Am I the one who simply exists?
Am I the one who thinks and acts?
Am I a thing, or just a thought?
A form of motion, or stillness caught?
In silence I dissolve and rise—
Who am I beneath disguise?

What does the mind forever seek?
It wanders on, both strong and weak,
Through echoes of the days gone by,
Through truths that in the present lie,
Through hopes that shape tomorrow’s face—
It flows, a wave that leaves no trace.

Why do we divide our thoughts so deep?
Do they from heart or brain arise and leap?
Where is the birthplace of the mind?
Where does its winding journey unwind?
Where lies the depth of knowing’s sea?
Where hides the root of harmony?

The cosmos is a wondrous flame,
Expanding, glowing, without name.
It spreads like light across the skies,
A mystery vast that never dies.
Beyond the edge of thought and lore—
It opens up forevermore.

Time is a wave that strikes the shore,
It asks us who we are once more.
Its voice repeats in endless rings,
While memory fades on silent wings.
In time’s great whirl my footprints fade—
Where is the path my soul has laid?

Emotions sing a secret tune,
The heart keeps rhythm, the mind croons.
Together they compose the song
Of wisdom’s pulse, both deep and strong.
Within that music, soft and wide,
My soul’s own echo seems to hide.

Action is a lamp alight,
Dispelling shadows born of night.
Within its glow we glimpse our face,
And find ourselves in motion’s grace.
From every deed a dawn is born—
A truth revealed, a veil is torn.

Peace is an ocean, vast and still,
Its waves are thoughts that rise and spill.
Within its depths the self dissolves,
And mystery gently evolves.
It offers calm beyond all sound—
A timeless shore where truth is found.
