Judgment-Free Inner Peace
In human life, most of the time we try to immediately evaluate and judge what we see, hear, and know.
“This is good,” “This is bad,” “He is right,” “He is wrong” the mind quickly makes decisions.
But the attitude of witness-consciousness is simply to observe events without giving any judgment, without making any evaluation.
It is like a meditative state.
The highest form of knowledge is cultivating the ability to see events as they are, with a calm mind.
The habit of constant evaluation always pushes a person into bias.
We praise what we like.
We belittle what we dislike.
Because of this, we fail to see the truth in its entirety.
This evaluation, which hides the truth, shrinks our knowledge and confuses the mind.
Witness-consciousness is the opposite of this.
It helps us see truth in its natural form.
Knowledge is not mere information gathering.
It is the ability to see events clearly.
Observation without judgment keeps the mind pure.
That pure mind alone reveals true knowledge.
“Observation without judgment is the highest form of knowledge.”
This state frees a person from selfishness and gives a broader vision.
If witness-consciousness is applied in life, relationships become peaceful.
In family, among friends, at the workplace wherever we are if we observe others without immediately judging them, understanding increases.
Conflicts decrease. Inner peace grows.
Moreover, witness-consciousness gives us self-awareness.
If we observe our own thoughts, emotions, and desires without judgment, we can know ourselves more clearly.
Witness-consciousness is very important in spirituality.
Meditation, yoga, Vedanta—all emphasize this.
“Witness” means one who simply observes.
That is, one who sees events without getting involved, without judging, just watching.
This state leads a person to supreme peace.
There the mind becomes completely calm, and the peak of knowledge shines forth.
Observation without judgment is not easy.
It is possible only through practice.
If we begin to observe small daily events without judgment, witness-consciousness grows.
That state transforms our life into one of peace and wisdom.
The ability to see truth in its natural form is the pinnacle of human knowledge.
With love,
