Rise Through Loss
A New Beginning in Life
Life is not a straight line.
It is a long journey filled with ups and downs, twists and turns.
The greatest challenge we encounter in this journey is 'loss.'
It could be an opportunity, a relationship, or an object we deeply cherish.
When we lose something, it is human nature to feel dejected and ask, "Why is this happening only to me?"
However, the law of nature dictates that when one door closes, another opens.
If we lose something, it simply means that life is preparing us giving us the maturity and the worthiness to accept something even better.
In public life, loss is a process of purification.
As we travel toward a goal, life occasionally strips away the unnecessary burdens we carry.
A tree sheds its old leaves only to make room for new shoots.
Similarly, when certain opportunities slip away, even if it feels like a devastating loss at that moment, it is actually helping us move toward a more deserving place.
What matters most is not what we lose, but who we become after that loss.
Every loss teaches a lesson, and that lesson enhances our maturity.
If a businessman who once faced failure achieves a much greater victory the next time by not repeating the same mistake, then the 'loss' he encountered was the very foundation of his success.
Therefore, we must learn to view losses not as mere deficits, but as investments for a better future.
Life does not wish to confine us within a specific circle.
When we become stagnant in one place, the wheel of time creates certain losses to nudge us forward.
The words, "Life is preparing you for something better," are what allow our self-belief to bloom again.
A student may consider not getting a seat in their preferred college as a loss.
However, the alternative platform they join might provide opportunities to develop entirely new talents.
This is the irony and beauty of life.
What we consider 'best' may be eclipsed by something even greater that the universe has in store for us.
If we turn the pages of history to look at great personalities who succeeded in public life, we find a significant loss preceding their greatest triumphs.
Had they crumbled during those moments of loss,
they would not have become the world-renowned achievers they are today.
They viewed that loss merely as an 'intermission' a time to sculpt themselves.
The way one faces loss defines their personality.
There is nothing wrong with feeling the pain of loss, but living forever within that pain is the mistake.
Many great achievements have begun at the very point where someone thought, "Everything is over."
Every blow life deals us is not meant to make us fall, but to make us stand up stronger.
When a statue is being carved, the unwanted stone chips that fall away are not a loss, they are the process that reveals the beauty of the sculpture.
Similarly, the losses in our lives remove our weaknesses and transform us into complete human beings.
These losses provide us with the mental strength and patience required for the massive successes awaiting us in the future.
In short, loss is not an end.
it is the prologue to a new chapter.
Waves in the ocean recede only to strike the shore again with greater momentum.
If certain things depart from our lives, it means a massive positive change is hidden behind that departure.
Only the one who is brave enough to lose anything gains the worthiness to achieve everything.
Therefore, do not fear loss.
Continue your journey with the conviction that "something better awaits me."
Life is transforming you into something extraordinary; embrace that change with confidence.
With Love,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
