The conspiracy of the wheel of time unfolds within the realm of dreams.
As destiny keeps searching, each person’s life continues to move in its own direction.
In this world, the opportunity given to each of us to live is only once.
Birth and death are not in our hands.
It is in the decisions we make at certain important stages of life that the course of our journey is determined.
Even the circumstances in which we make those decisions often unfold beyond our control.
It is in such a state that the fortresses of our future ideals are built.
Our determined efforts toward them continue to move forward.
Every step we take on the path of life is like a seed.
How that seed grows depends on its environment and the care we give it.
Some seeds sprout immediately, some take time.
Likewise, our efforts, our talents, and our patience are refined through the tests of time.
Within each of us, some talent is born.
It remains hidden within us, often without our awareness.
Discovering its place and its dwelling is the true purpose of education.
Early education helps polish the purity of our mind and clarify its parts.
Through that help, we come to know what our talent is, and by nurturing it we can elevate our lives.
Education is not merely a tool for acquiring knowledge.
It is a ray of light that reveals the depths of our inner being.
True education brings out the hidden talents within us and shows us how to use them for the welfare of society.
Education shapes us not only for personal success but also as an instrument to uplift the lives of others.
Often, failing to recognize our own talents, we waste years of life trying to imitate others, thinking, “Why shouldn’t I do what they do?”
Faith is essential in life.
Without faith, success is rare.
But to miss opportunities to grow in knowledge because of blind faith is foolishness.
Faith is like a lamp.
It guides us through darkness.
But if we do not shield that lamp from the winds of ignorance, it will quickly be extinguished.
Only when faith and knowledge unite does life become complete.
Faith helps us move forward; knowledge helps us choose the right path.
If we cling stubbornly to one belief and fail to examine the truths in what others say, or fail to analyze the beliefs of others, we hinder the growth of our own knowledge.
To believe only one thing and reject all else is like locking up the purity of our mind.
The human mind must be an open door.
Only when diverse thoughts, experiences, and ideas enter through that door does knowledge expand.
To hold on to a single idea and reject all others is like confining oneself to a small room.
Openness of mind is the foundation of true growth.
I recall a small story I once read.
An elder among the Native Americans was sharing life lessons with his grandson. He said:
“Son, I feel as though there are two dogs within me.
One has qualities of anger, revenge, and rage. The other has love, compassion, and forgiveness.
They are always fighting with each other.”
The grandson asked:
“Grandfather, which one will finally win the fight?”
The elder replied:
“Son, whichever one I feed that is the one that will win.”
Indeed, we ourselves are responsible for our actions, for the course of our lives, and for the way we live.
It is easy to blame circumstances and situations for what happens to us or for the positions we reach in life.
But if we do not hide the truth from ourselves and accept it, we will see that everything rests upon us and our self-control.
With love,
