The Mantra for an Easier Life

The Mantra for an Easier Life: Mind ourself, Release Unnecessary Focus on Others.

We all desire to live a calm and joyful life.

However, in our daily lives, we spend most of our time struggling with unnecessary stress and disappointment.

The main reason for this is our attempt to bring everyone else's life under our control.

"Life becomes much easier when we understand that our job isn't to control how others think, act, or feel.

Our job is to stay rooted in who we are, act with integrity, stay devoted to our evolution, and let go of everything that isn't ours to carry."

Let us compare this philosophy with every aspect of our ordinary human life.

Releasing Control over Others

Other People's Thoughts and Feelings

This is the mistake we often make in a family or an office.

We expect our spouse, children, or friends to think like us and behave according to our expectations.

The thoughts like, "Why doesn't he listen to me?" or "Why doesn't she understand me, even after all I've done?" are the foundation for conflicts and mental exhaustion.

The truth is, every human being is an island.

Their mindset, experiences, and upbringing are completely different.

Whether someone is happy today or sad tomorrow is not under our control.

When we release that control, a state of acceptance arises, thinking, "That's just how they are.

" The peace that comes from this lack of control immediately makes life easier.

Letting Go of Unnecessary Burdens

Our relative's problems, the neighbour's debt issues, or other people's responsibilities at the office these are all burdens that are not meant for our shoulders.

We constantly expend excessive effort, time, and emotion for others.

This burden prevents the progress of our own life.

We must clearly define our boundaries.

We need to differentiate between what we must carry (family responsibilities, personal duties) and what we don't need to carry (other people's unnecessary drama, problems they must solve themselves).

Learning to say, "That's not my worry," is not selfishness; it is self-respect.

Just Do Our Duty (Focus on Our Own Growth)

After releasing control over others, the quote clearly states where we should focus our attention on our individual growth.

Staying Rooted in Who We Are

Social media, friends' lifestyles, and advertisements all pressure us not to be ourselves.

Due to this, we forget our true talents and uniqueness and try to live like others.

The first line of this principle is: Our foundation is ourselves.

Are you a great cook? Develop that.

Are you an honest worker? Do not stray from that.

Hold firmly to your inner values without changing yourself for the expectations of others.
Acting with Integrity

This is a crucial guide for a simple life.

There should be transparency in every action we take.

The thought of making a mistake when no one is watching disturbs our inner peace.

When we are honest, we gain the clarity that we are not cheating anyone.

The comfort provided by that clarity is true happiness.

For example, if we tell a small lie, we will have to tell many lies to cover it up.

But when we are honest, less effort is needed.

Staying Devoted to Our Evolution

The biggest challenge in life is continuously learning and progressing without stagnation.

Our true duty is to see if there is progress in all areas like work, health, and new skills.

Did we eat nutritious food today? That is our growth.

Did we learn a new thing in our job today? That is our growth.

When anger arose today, did we remain calm for a minute? That is your growth.

Focusing on this small, daily growth gives our mind a sense of meaning and purpose.

Life is not a drama,it is an individual journey.

We are not directors leading others.

Rather, we are travelers on our own path. If we understand the essence of the above philosophy, our path in life becomes easier.

Trying to control the actions of others will toss us around like an infant.

But controlling our growth and integrity will keep us calm and strong, like a wise person.

Therefore, let us focus our attention only on ourselves from today.

We will remain firm in who we are and let go of the burdens of others that we do not need to carry.

Let us live by realizing the depth of this simple life philosophy. Our life will be a blessed one.

Coming back again,
Yours sincerely,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
