Life is like a mighty tree.
Its branches stretch upward toward the sky, and in them, joy blossoms.
At the same time, its roots grow deep into the soil symbolizing the inner strength that bears sorrow and pain.
The higher the branches reach, the deeper the roots must grow.
The richness of the branches is sustained by the depth of the roots.
Indeed, sorrow lays the foundation for the flourishing of joy.
In human life, joy and sorrow are intertwined.
Every event unfolds with a reason.
Whatever its impact may be whether joy or grief we must accept it and learn the lessons life offers through it.
We must strive to change the world with our smile.
We must never allow the world to change our smile.
Social transformation does not require grand heroic feats.
Even a small act of goodness, when followed by many, becomes a powerful force for change.
That alone is the service we are capable of offering.
If we cultivate the ability to change what we can, and the wisdom to shift our perspective toward what we cannot change, we become victorious.
Compared to the many reasons that say “it’s impossible,”
a single reason that says “it’s possible” is far more powerful.
Lighting a lamp is not to conceal darkness,
but to guide those lost in it toward the light.
Let us not measure each day’s success by the harvest, but by the seeds of goodness we have sown.
That is true service.
Rather than wishing that everything happening now should be perfect,
let us believe that everything that has happened could not have been more perfect.
Such a mindset brings peace and contentment.
My beloved generation,
This life belongs to you.
Hold it firmly with both hands.
Nurture courage in your heart with humility.
Cultivate truth in your soul with compassion.
You will surely succeed.
Our mother will lift her head in pride and rejoice.
Yes, you truly honor humanity.
You are capable.
I believe in you completely.
With love,
Sakthi Sakthidasan
