With the reflections of a few sweet moments, we possess the power to carry the remaining moments of life forward.
In those few moments, it is not the people we love with our eyes, but the few we love with our hearts whose affection gives us the supreme strength to move through the rest of life.
That is why, perhaps, those who live not with the ones they desire, but with the ones they receive and learn to desire that life, live more peacefully.
In the course of living, many people pass through our lives.
The experiences they leave us with are sometimes sorrowful, sometimes joyful.
But all of them are priceless.
Never forget that life is in our hands.
Instead of lying idle, trapped like a prisoner in a spider’s web, rise and walk with the goal of touching the Himalayas.
When the longing arises to seek a life free of desires, a life free of suffering will knock at the door.
Those who mistake our silence for ignorance, and our patience-filled love for weakness, are the ones we often find around us.
But because of that, we must never try to change ourselves.
Just as we go to sleep trusting that dawn will come, so too must we take the next step trusting that success will come.
Life’s Strange Games
The peculiar games of life are astonishing.
Yet many are not in a state to enjoy them.
Because the impacts of these games bring pain into their lives.
The pain torments them, but the wonder of its mystery does not become a feast.
With what we possess, we can buy anything.
But even if we acquire all the wealth in the world, the mindset of contentment the feeling that we have enough cannot be bought at any price.
The poet Vaali beautifully captured this truth in his song “In the shop spread by God, no one is prepared to pay with their heart to buy love.”
There is no human who has never made mistakes.
.
And those who keep on erroring are not truly human either.
The one who unknowingly makes a mistake, and then corrects it upon realizing, is the true good human.
But those who refuse to change their view of someone even after that person has corrected themselves they are the ones without humanity.
Peace within, clarity in mind with these companions, if one learns the subtle art of living with virtue, that alone is enough.
Whatever religion we belong to, whichever God we worship, one truth remains: the foundation of devotion is a life of discipline.
These words are but droplets that splash out from the deep reflections we undertake in pursuit of that subtle truth.
Life is woven of joy, sorrow, pain, and trials.
We all begin our lives with the desire to achieve something.
As time passes, the boundaries of achievement change according to each person’s circumstances.
When we live within the protective circle of mother and father, the world before us looks one way.
But when we ourselves become mother and father, the world changes.
Often we hear people say, “What does he lack? He has every comfort in life.”
But we fail to realize that even within such comfort, there may be hidden pain in his heart.
Instead of grieving over what we do not have, cherishing what we do have brings peace of mind.
We must set goals, but never let them grow so large that they blind our eyes.
Think a thousand times; decide once.
Before truth even begins its journey, falsehood will have already circled half the world.
Do not forget this.
Truth walks alone; falsehood always needs companions.
Let living and letting live be our philosophy of life.
Hard work, a just mind, peaceful thought, beauty without noise, success with humility if my beloved younger generation embraces these, there is no doubt they will rise unmatched in this world.
Life is a painting.
Each day is a color.
Some colors may appear dark, but without them the painting cannot be complete.
Likewise, without sorrows and trials, life cannot be whole.
The true wealth of man is his peace of mind.
The pleasures gained by material things are temporary.
But peace of mind is permanent.
The way to attain it is through love, patience, forgiveness, and faith.
Until the end of our lives, it is our thoughts that guide us.
Good thoughts lift us up; evil thoughts drag us down.
Therefore, keep your thoughts pure.
That is the true success of life.
I believe you can do it.
With love,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
