Shadows and Reality

Believing shadows as the truth,  

Memories of yesterday remain.  

The heart that wanders in reality,  

Plays the dramas of today.  

When shadow and truth unite,  

Tomorrow becomes a dreamland.  

Dreams dissolve within the eyes,  

From tears a poem is born.  

When emotions stand at the edge,  

Music rises within the soul.  

Tomorrow alone will speak to us,  

Moments become our very breath.  

When silence finds its language,  

The doorway of the mind opens.  

Walking in the stride of shadows,  

Reality embraces us whole.  

Even darkness can gift us light,  

A blinking instant is enough.  

Time will guide our steps,  

The path we choose is ours.  

Though roads may branch apart,  

The vision remains as one.  

Hope itself becomes our shadow,  

Tomorrow’s truth becomes ourselves.  

Though thoughts may scatter wide,  

Wings will spread and soar.  

Though dreams may break apart,  

The light in our eyes won’t fade.  

Shadows will show us the way,  

Reality will help us live.  

In moments when bonds melt,  

Emotions awaken to life.  

Shadows draw us closer still,  

Truths move us to tenderness.  

When both unite as one,  

Compassion rules our being.  

Though old pages may still speak,  

New creations are born again.  

Shadows remind us of the past,  

Reality lifts us to stand tall.  

Tomorrow places its trust in us,  

And we learn to love ourselves.
