Speaking my mind ........

a spiritual retreat there were many disciples.

Everyone was eagerly learning everything, but one disciple alone was troubled.

The sage called him and asked:
"Master! Everyone mocks and ridicules me… I cannot bear it. Anger rises within me. I do not know what to do!" he said.

The Guru replied: "Climb onto the wall of this well and walk around it ten times!"

Though he did not understand why the Guru said so, the disciple obeyed.

Carefully, with full attention, he climbed onto the wall of the well and circled it ten times.

The Guru asked: "While you were walking on the wall, many mocked you, did you hear them?"

"No, Master! I was focused only on not falling into the well. I did not hear anyone’s words," said the disciple.

The Guru said: "When we are deeply and sincerely engaged in a task, the words of others do not reach us. Do you understand?"

The disciple understood everything!

"One who worries about what this person says, or that person says, cannot achieve anything great," said Swami Vivekananda.

We live in this world only once.

What matters is not how many we hurt, but how many wounds we did not cause.

Life is always teaching us.

When we sigh with relief after solving one problem, another comes knocking at the door.

When we finish reading one page of a textbook, the next page opens.

Everything that happens to us is a lesson about life itself.

At the age of 69, I am still a student of life.

Teachers come in many forms from children of five to elders of a hundred.

Thoughts come and go in thousands.

The consequences of our actions depend on which thoughts we choose to follow.

We must cultivate the maturity to reject the harmful and embrace the good.

Through meditation, this journey becomes easier.

Yet only as I step into the twilight of life do I truly grasp its meaning.

From experience I say: Time is golden do not waste it, make it victorious.

"The tongue has no nerves, so it can speak without limits," said the great poet Kannadasan.

If someone’s words guide you towards progress, give them your attention.

Otherwise, stay true to your conscience, ignore what does not matter, and live with love.

Victory will be yours.

Knowledge is not only in books; it hides in experiences, failures, and efforts.

Love is not only in words; it shines in actions, patience, and forgiveness.

Success is not only in medals; it dwells in peace of mind, social welfare, and helping others.

Life is a painting.
Each day is a color.
Even the darker shades are needed—for without them, the painting is incomplete.

Therefore,
Live with honesty, share with love, and move forward with peace of mind.

You can do it.

With love,
Sakthi Sakthidasan
