The Secret of Happiness and the Grandeur of Life

The Secret of Happiness and the Grandeur of Life

Happiness.

It hasn't gone and hidden somewhere.

It is buried deep within the hearts of all of us.

We are the ones who dig up the diamond that lies deep within the earth.

It is only after polishing a diamond, which initially looks like a mere pebble, that its true value is revealed.

Similarly, it is our skill to recognize the place where happiness is buried.

Just as we polish a diamond, if we bring happiness out carefully, we can experience its full essence.

By spending time dreaming of setting foot on the moon, we fail to experience the beauty and fragrance of the lovely flowers right near our feet, within arm's reach.

Happiness is not a town we travel to and reach the journey itself is happiness.

True happiness is hidden in the small actions in the moments of every second, which we quickly forget.

A kiss given with a joyful heart, an open smile, a kind look mixed with affection, heartfelt praise these are the drops of happiness that sprout from such events.

If we dare to dissolve ourselves as the clouds that pour these drops, happiness will automatically come seeking us.

The state of mind to appreciate the beauty in everything we see daily is the first key to happiness.

Whether eating, breathing, or sleeping, genuinely maintaining a sense of gratitude for the opportunities and blessings we have lightens our hearts.

Instead of worrying about what we don't have, thank the things we currently possess many times over.

This habit will remove the darkness from our minds and bring forth the light of buried happiness.

Solitude, it is a little different.

If we choose it ourselves, it feels sweet to our heart.

But if others impose it upon us, for some reason, it feels bitter.

Life is shaped by the nature of our thoughts.

If we think only the best, it will surely flourish.

There is a value to every action we undertake in the world.

Whether it is a small help or honest labour, its result will elevate not only us but also society.

Earning money can be a goal, but it should be viewed only as a tool.

The real value behind our work is the integrity we put into our labour and the impact we create in the lives of others.

If we can give happiness to someone through our work, there is no greater wealth than that.

The late Dr. Abdul Kalam once said, "If you want to shine like the sun, you must be prepared to burn like the sun in the flames of fire."

Truthfulness, Purity, and Dedication are the miraculous ways to quench the thirst for a goal.

The true measure of success in our life does not lie in the money we have saved in our bank, but in how many people's lives we were able to bring about a positive change.

Our life journey is not just about moving towards a goal the lessons we learn and the challenges we overcome during that journey are what sculpt us.

We must not fear failures but use them as stepping stones to success.

Every small step we take to reach our goals and the unwavering effort we put forth define our personal identity.

Perseverance and integrity are the tools that actualize our dreams.

It is true that not all of us possess the same level of talent, but the opportunity to bring out the talents we do possess is available to everyone.

It is not important to teach the growing society the ways of saving wealth, but rather to teach them how to live happily.

O Young Generation!

The Nation and the Home rely on you; you can do it.

Affectionately,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
