“From Dreams to Destiny: The Power of Perseverance”
None of us are born according to our own will, and likewise, most of us will not die according to our own will.
Even in the time we live in between, the deeds we take pride in as if they are our own accomplishments do not always unfold according to our will.
Do not grow weary thinking these are mere philosophical explanations and wondering how self-confidence can grow stronger.
Our effort itself is our strength.
In this impermanent life, steadfast determination requires active engagement.
Without needs, there is no life.
But when needs grow beyond the joy of life itself, differences begin to widen.
Missing essential moments for the sake of unnecessary comforts plants the seeds of despair.
Seeking a noble life through genuine effort, within the bounds of human righteousness, is never wrong.
To some extent, it is necessary for the functioning of the world.
But to descend into unrighteous paths, relying on injustice and immoral means, is wrong.
What is success? It is the bridge from “I cannot” to “I can.”
Never think that we know nothing, nor that we know everything.
We must believe that we are those who possess the mindset capable of achieving anything.
Never set limits to challenges, instead, challenge the limits.
That alone will lead you to the path of success.
A common habit among us is to say, when we fail to do something,
“We didn’t have time” or “Time wasn’t enough.”
Can we control time? No.
Each of us is given the same 24 hours. Then why do some succeed while many do not?
Those few do not try to control time.
Instead, they learn to control themselves within the time they are given. That is the key to their success.
My dear young generation,
There are only 24 hours in a day, equal and common to all.
How we prioritize and fulfill our needs within those 24 hours determines whether we achieve our goals.
When we work toward a goal, we learn to awaken the leadership dormant within us.
We bring forth the talents we ourselves have buried.
We awaken the relationship between our present self and the higher self that lies asleep within us.
Therefore, when we undertake a task, it is essential to keep in mind the benefits we will gain from it.
Our life is like a journey across the ocean.
We cannot stop the waves, but we can learn to ride them joyfully.
Likewise, the challenges we face in life can be turned to our advantage, transforming the effort to overcome them into a joyful pilgrimage.
Life is not about what happens to us, but about how we respond to it.
Often, we mistakenly think success lies in the hands of luck.
But in truth, success is the point where perseverance and proper planning meet.
Living for others’ praise is lesser than living in a way that brings pride to our own conscience.
Let your dreams be vast, but keep your feet firmly on the ground.
Dreaming alone is not enough; every small step toward that dream matters.
Never despair at failures.
They do not come to destroy you, but to shape you like the strokes of a sculptor’s chisel.
A diamond must be cut many times before it shines.
Gold must be refined in fire before it glows.
In the same way, only by passing through trials does a human become an achiever.
The obstacles you face today are the lessons necessary for the great success you will achieve tomorrow.
So, do not stubbornly refuse to rise when you fall. Instead, learn to rise with greater speed than the fall itself.
Change alone is the one constant in this world.
The secret of success lies in adapting ourselves to the flow of time.
Rather than lamenting “I have no facilities, no background,” the wise one thinks, “How can I move forward with what I have?”
A river must cross rocks and valleys before reaching the sea.
Likewise, do not seek shortcuts to your goal. Invest in honest effort.
If your effort is genuine, it will never go to waste.
There may be delays, but success will surely reach you.
My dear young generation,
When facing a problem in life, two questions may arise within us:
1. Alas! Why did this happen to me?
2. What is the next step I must take to bring this problem to an end?
You surely know which of these two questions will help you move forward in life’s journey.
You can do it, because you are the confident heirs of this vast universe.
With love,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
