In the sweetness of our youthful days, we draw a small circle around ourselves and believe that is what life truly is.
As our lives spin along with the wheel of time and pass through many twists and turns, the narrowness of the circle we once drew begins to reveal bitter truths.
We easily assume things about others whom we do not fully know, and we turn ourselves into judges who pass verdicts without understanding.
Even when we realize that our assumptions and judgments are wrong, the false veil of ego refuses to let us accept it.
Because of such attitudes, we forget that we lose the one precious opportunity we have to bond with the relationships life has gifted us.
The greatest prayer a human being can offer is a single word: “Thank you.”
Cowards can never forgive, for forgiveness is a priceless virtue possessed only by the brave.
A thousand thoughts arise within the mind, but not all of them become words. What is success?
It is the bridge we build to travel from “I cannot” to “I can.”
Never should we think that we know nothing, nor should we imagine that we know everything.
We must believe that we are those who possess the mental strength to achieve anything.
Never set limits for challenges; instead, challenge the limits.
That alone will lead you to the path of success.
On this grand stage called the world, thousands of scenes unfold every day.
We watch the lives of others as if they are mere performances.
But when an event occurs in our own life, we fail to realize that we too are actors in this play.
We view the scenes we witness from the angle we prefer and easily form judgments about others.
Between the two cycles of birth and death, we imagine ourselves to be permanent and chase after illusions, losing our true existence in the flight of desires.
I too am merely a fellow actor in this drama called life, experiencing all of this.
What I believed to be real turned out to be shadows, and what I dismissed as shadows stood before me laughing as reality.
Thus have I gathered the chapters of my book of experience.
When we arrange our needs in the order of their importance and fulfill them, our goals naturally succeed.
You can achieve it, for you are the noble heirs of the self‑confident mother!
The anger we feel in our minds is not caused by circumstances or by the actions of others, but by the reactions that arise within us.
If we learn to hold firmly the reins of the horse called our mind, we can preserve countless relationships.
It is with the right earned through long years of experience that I rise to share these reflections.
My beloved younger generation!
Time is precious.
Wake up while strength still resides in your body.
The entire universe awaits your action.
Life does not always give us sweet lessons.
But those lessons shape us like sculptors.
Every obstacle is a hidden blessing that helps us rise.
If we understand this, the word “failure” will never touch us.
The journey of understanding oneself is the truest spiritual journey.
No matter how high our goals may be, we must never lose our humanity.
Love, compassion, and sharing these are the three pillars that make a human truly human.
If we embrace them, no matter how much the world changes, our inner self will remain steady.
A noble heart is one that finds joy in the happiness of others.
No one knows what tomorrow will bring.
But what we do today shapes who we become tomorrow.
So make every day meaningful.
Small efforts create great transformations.
Let every step you take move toward your dreams.
Your journey belongs to you alone
and it is in your hands to make it beautiful and meaningful.
You can do it.
With love,
Sakthi Sakthithasan
